Went to the Groovy Hair Salon earlier this week and unfortunately it was a throughly disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the staff didn't seem to know that I had booked an appointment online. I paid for a hair wash, cut and wet shave - apparently the hair wash part was just a myth. Before the hairdresser took to my hair he promptly sneezed all over his hands and then got to work without washing them which is pretty unhygenic. After giving specfic instructions about how I wanted my hair cut and styled the hairdresser just gave me a short back and sides...Considering this cost £30 I felt pretty shocked by the treatment. Really unimpressed.

It does look a little cheap and run down on the outside (and inside) but the staff were great and the haircut even better!

I've been here before and had a very good haircut. But this time they got it slightly wrong. I asked for a a little bit of layering and what I got was a total restyle, which is quite nineties in it's look.. A little too scissor happy this time!
