I have just booked my 5th appointment at Groovy Salon for ½ head of highlights with a cut & blow-dry finish.
I waited to write my review until now, as I sometimes find with London salons you are treated well on your 1st visit and then standards start to slip! – Not at Groovy Salon! – My experience has been 10/10 every time!
I have lived in London for 6 years and have had my hair cut/foiled as a hair model in London’s top Hair salons.
But have never found a regular hairdresser that would make me feel as comfortable as Girt has. The atmosphere is relaxed, young, fun, professional and run by a very kind and chatty guy called Yusuf.
They understand different hair types and what the customer wants, as well as giving their professional opinion on what will be best for your hair!
I have pretty coarse hair (from years of highlights/straightening along with my natural wavy curls) But Girt manages to blow dry my hair leaving it silky smooth without straightening! (This has never been achieved before!)
I can’t recommend this place enough!!! See you soon!
Tiny little salon but very friendly staff and excellent value for money. I booked for a half head of highlights and a cut and blow dry, I am really happy with the colour and the cut. I didn't have time for a full blow dry so they very kindly offered that I can come back at another time to have one. I would reccomend this salon.
It's a really small place but the staff were really friendly and it was great value. I was really happy with the colour and most of the cut, however my fringe is a bit all over the place!
I had my hair highlighted and cut here last night, my overall experience was 10/10. It was the first time I have ever had my hair highlighted and I am so happy with the outcome, my hairdresser was very careful to choose a colour that suited my skin tone. The staff were so accommodating and seemed to really care about my experience, even though it was late on a Friday night! Although my hair (fairly long) wasn't in the best condition I didn't get told off (like other hairdressers do) for straightening/curling/blow-drying my locks and the cut looks and feels amazing! Highly recommended!
Went for eyebrows threading, very happy with the service provided, Youssef was really nice and gentle. I would recommend it.
