Very nice and friendly salon with stylish design and professional staff. Very easy to find because it is situated in the centre of Soho. I am satisfied with my haircut and will recommend this salon to my friends.

Definitely more of a barber shop than a hair salon. Had better cuts and blow dries done elsewhere but it was ok for the deal they had

Nice staff and a spot on haircut/blow dry. Asked me more than once about how much I want to cut and showed me before he started to cut what I really appreciate for my long hair.

I selected the hair salon based on the positive reviews on the website. I agree with the reviews that the staff are very friendly and polite. However, the quality of the services is disappointing. I went for the half highlights, cut and blow dry offer. The highlights were done by Girt and cut by Youssef. I asked for a few highlights to be applied only on my roots so that my hair doesn't look treated. However, the hairdresser extended the colour on the whole hair making it look dry. Some of the highlights were not applied evenly and there is a spot that looks like bad re-growth. Also, I asked for two different shades of blonde as I thought this would create some contrast against my natural brownish hair. Instead of two blonde shades I got one blonde and one brown (that was darker than my natural hair). As far as the cut is concerned I asked for trimming. The hairdresser cut my hair in a way that it forms a triangle now. This type of haircut was trendy several years ago! Now I need to style my hair a lot more as it won’t look good without it. It looks chunky, frizzy and dated. On the whole, the experience at Groovy Hair Salon was rather disappointing. It takes a long time to grow healthy, lovely looking hair but only a few minutes to destroy it.
