I've been here twice before, the first time I had a great experience. The second time was not so good. For this manicure I got SNS dip with tips and french tip design. I had about 3 different nail techs work on my nails, one of which was a woman who was incredibly rough and not friendly whatsoever. After the appointment, I was left with polish on my fingers and they also were not letting the polish fully dry, so the clear coat dragged the french tip color onto the rest of my nails. Additionally, after about a week and a half, the polish completely peeled off which I have never seen before. I ended up just painting over the nails, very disappointed.
We have been coming to Anna for years, and she is the absolute best. Great service, great nails, loveliest people. Always serving water and tea. Great price. Highly recommend! Do not hesitate. And please note — she is BY FAR the best nail shop on the Caledonian Road.
Best nail bar, and the only place I like to go to now - Anna and Jimmy are something special.
- EXCELLENT nail technicians, always get a really high quality finish and my acrylics with shellac never chip, they last a good 4 weeks, just depends on how fast my nails are growing.
- Smart well kept salon, warm in winter and air conditioned in summer, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished - feels like a touch of luxury.
- Always offered a tea, coffee or water.
- Friendly owners and staff, really welcoming and they do whatever they can to fit you in or help with any questions or problems.
- Lovely to my kids who often now ask to come with me, they usually offer them sweeties or lollies they keep at the reception desk, they're very kind.
- an absolute credit to the community, so grateful to have such a great shop on the Cally.
Anna and Jimmy are amazing, they have a huge selection of dipping powder colours and Jimmy is incredible at nail art. They prioritise taking care of your nails which is so refreshing!
