I had a gel mani-pedi and was overall dissatisfied with the whole experience.
My manicure has chipped after only a few days, and the technician cut me painfully a number of times when trimming my cuticles on my hands and feet. The pedicure was also not thorough enough, as I still had dead/dry skin on my feet afterwards. I was also unimpressed with the cleanliness of the tools and equipment used throughout, some of which had clearly just been used for someone else without a wash. Not impressed.
