A chill out day of pure relaxation - perfect for stressful family Christmas!
I purchased the £105 'spa day, massage and lunch' package with my friend a few months ago and we absolutely loved it, so much so that I bought the package again for my mum and aunt for my aunt's 60th birthday present. They had a great time. The facilities are all top notch, the house and grounds are beautiful, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the lunch was delicious when I went and my aunt and mum also loved it (served in the dining room in a buffet style with loads of yummy salads, soup, meat, and fish dishes, fruit and desserts). There is also a lot to do in the grounds which sprawls over a large golf course and what looked like an orchard as well as a forest where there are badminton and tennis courts. There is also a gym and guided walks/exercise classes are available. The crunchiest apples I've ever had and water/tea/coffee are also on tap throughout the house.
The only thing that could have been better on my own visit was that the temperature of the Jacuzzi could have been higher.
Apart from that I would definitely go again, I thought it was a great trip for myself and my friend and as a present, great value for the beautiful location, delicious food, professional massage and access to the countless facilities.
