I was looking forward to trying a new salon, but I do not think I will return. The root colour experience was just fine - neither terrible nor great. I asked if the stylist could blend a bit further down from the root, even just for the last 10 minutes (to help blend the new colour with the rest of the hair) and she didn't. There was no serum at the end to soften the hair and control frizz. All those little things you usually get. It was just all very perfunctory and sort of basic/bare minimum.
