I arrived at gravity at the time of my appointment (11:30am) to find the door locked. I checked the opening times of the salon and it should have been open from 11am. Someone came to the door and unlocked it, I said I had an appointment and they looked very confused and asked me to sit and wait. They shouted about for the manager and when there was no reply said that he must have gone out and I’d have to wait. I did for 15 mins before they asked me to come back in 20 mins. I did and the manager was there, a lovely guy. He made no comment about the fact that I was having my appointment at 12:15 instead of 11:30 though. It was a good thing I’d tanned before because he didn’t ask whether it was my first time and I was allowed to go in for 9 mins, which a fair skinned person or first timer should not be allowed to do. The machine runs on coins which are provided. 3mins per coin so I had 3. The machine registered only 2 so I went in for 6 mins and then had to run to go and ask for another coin for my final 3 mins. The machine itself had clearly never been cleaned as I was in there with flying around balls of hair! Overall not very impressed (despite the nice manager and seemingly nice rest of the salon!)
