I was booked in for a Brazillian Blow Wave and was really excited about transforming my hair. The good points were that the ladies were very efficient and welcoming and I was served the most excellent coffee. Unfortunately all my expectations concerning the hair treatment were not met. My hair is fine and porous and prone to frizz - especially when I wake up in the morning and I have to wash and blow my hair every day. I was told that after this treatment all I need to do was either brush my hair through or blast it with a hairdryer as it would stay glossy and straight. Unfortunately this is not the case. despite not washing my hair for the 3 days after the treatment as advised every morning I have woken up my hair has been as bad as it ever was! After the first wash, I still had to blow and straighten it for it to look presentable - the only noticeable difference is that it is softer and (maybe) it didn't take quite so long to straighten! I purchased £30 worth of hair products, paid an extra £10.00 for a trim and gave a tip on top of the cost of the Brazillian treatment and I really don't think I have received any value for money. I am really, really disappointed as the hairdresser assured me that my hair would be 'transformed'. I feel duped.
