The receptionist was lovely on arrival, chatty and offered me a beer! However, the experience grew worse from there. The salon was quite untidy, the hair wash basin loose on it's hinges and my hair stylist didn't seem to know what she was doing. She seemed nervous as the cut happened very slowly. This was until she blow dried my hair and became fairly rude. After about 5 minutes I wanted to ask for heat protector to be used as this is usually applied as standard no matter where I've been, plus the hair dryer was burning my scalp and the heat was probably drying out my dry, bleach highlighted hair (plus I'd paid £45 up front so I thought, why not?!). The response was a smirk in the mirror at another hairdresser, as if I'd asked for something out of the ordinary. She then says, 'clips ok?!' which felt very sarcastic considering there were already about 6 clips in my hair. I felt bad complaining straight away as I thought I may have been being over the top. The blow dry was ok, but sure enough when I got home and looked in the mirror I saw the front was wonky! The whole experience was awkward, unenjoyable and if there's any feeling of uneasiness whilst someone is cutting my hair, it means I won't be going back!

I had a great experience at Glo Fulham, the staff were extremely friendly and I am very happy with the colour. I will definitely be coming back.
