I have a very mixed, but sadly disappointing view of Glo. I was late to my appointment because of transport and they were so nice about it which is good and kind of them. However, I told the stylist that I wanted 1-2 inches of my hair and to have a bit more shape. Once I’d had the treatment, she started cutting but rather than cut 2 inches off, she cut 4 off and considering I have very long hair this is a big cut for me. I noticed she was cutting more and more from my hair and once we got to the layering section I told her I didn’t want anymore of the length taking off. She got slightly defensive and said that in order to create body she had to do this. My hair is now incredibly short for me. Also, whilst doing the blow dry she was yanking my hair so far away from my head that it was actually painful. At the end I advised her my cut was too short and not what I was used to and continued to be defensive. Overall, I’m incredibly disappointed and unhappy with my cut but it’s not like they can give me my hair back or do anything to rectify it. Avoid if you don’t want something which isn’t what you asked for!!
