The haircut itself was ok, but I didn't have a great impression of the customer service - they didn't offer to take my coat, offer me a tea, all the things I have come to expect from visiting other salons. The stylist went straight into washing my hair without looking at it first or asking me what kind of cut I wanted (also not what I am used to in other salons), and when she did ask after washing it was very cursory. If I had wanted anything more than a trim I would have been concerned that she didn't have any idea of what my hair is like or what style I wanted. I didn't book for a blow dry but she went ahead anyway (and charged me for it) without offering me the choice. None of these things are major or 'deal-breakers' on their own but I just didn't have the pleasant experience that I look forward to when I get my hair cut.
The salon was nicely decorated and organised. Conversation was minimal, which is fine for me as i prefer this! This is the first hairdresser to listen when i ask them to not cut off too much of the length. For this alone i award them 5 stars. Thank you
