Despite what it the building looks like on the outside, this salon is nicely done and a welcome surprise when you walk in. I had a great wax, one of the least painful ever and my beautician was a lovely lady. I was therefore looking forward to my pedicure, however it was with a different lady and the first stroke with the nail clippers was very painful as she clipped a chunk out of my big toe which then started bleeding. She was apologetic and we carried on but she clipped all of my nails too short and I wasn't convinced by the overall quality of the pedicure, it wasn't the best I have had even without the toe cutting incident. My wax was good though and I would return for a wax with the same lady.
One of the best massages I've every had, The masseuse was great and helped release some of the knots in my back. Can't recommend her enough. The only issue I had was I couldn't fully relax due to the conversations happening outside of the room from the hairdresser/other customers. It's not what you expect when booking a massage as a treat.
For full highlights and a cut in London this was an absolute bargain and she did a great job. I've never had it done before so my instructions were a bit vague and in the end I left her to it - the result was really subtle, natural looking highlights which catch the light nicely. Not a great place to go if you like a chat but, luckily, I don't, so was able to read my book without feeling rude.
