Very disappointed after reading the positive reviews. I had paid for the Dermalogica Deep Cleansing Facial which according to their menu should have lasted 50 minutes and included a shoulder and neck massage.
It started 15 mins late and only lasted 35 mins, no massage and no blackhead extractions, which is the whole point surely of the deep cleaning facial? I still have all the visible gunk in my pores. I was told the salon doesn't do extractions at all as they don't have the tools..they had also run out of the Active moisturiser recommended for my skin so used something else. No serum applied either, just a quick dab of moisturiser. Not even massaged in. The girl who did it was lovely but very inexperienced, just out of college. And considering it was the same price for any of the therapists, I'm annoyed I got someone so junior. My skin looks exactly as it did before I went, just greasiest and more red. As they do not do extractions, I would not recommend it for anyone wanting an actual deep cleaning.
