I normally have a really good experience at this salon and had booked a facial as a treat. However, I'm not joking when I say it was less comfortable than the bikini wax! I have acne-prone skin and the therapist really squeezed my blackheads even though I wasn't keen on her doing it - by the time I left my face was red and painful and I was very paranoid about breakouts. It was touch-and-go for a few days but luckily it all cleared up the following week and to be fair, my skin has been a lot clearer since. But be warned - do not go in thinking you'll have a relaxing spa experience - this is 'no pain, no gain' stuff!
