Came in to get shellac done off jo. This is the 5th time I’ve been to glam and I left feeling fantastic. The girls are friendly and chatty and always make you feel at home. Prices are affordable but treatments are always done to perfection. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Will be back after Christmas for sure ...
Treatment by Nail Technician
I came in for gel with regular polish, I got the wonkiest nail job. When I told the lady that they were wonky, she made them wonkier and filed them down to a point. She got angry that she had to start over and slammed things on the table. I left with bumpy nails that weren’t filed down correctly. My middle finger looks like it has gel hanging off the end.
The staff would talk crap about other clients behind their even calling one a nuisance. A client called to make a complaint (the secretary put her on speaker) and the secretary went on about how she’s the best hairdresser/has regular clients etc without addressing the client properly. At one point the staff and a client started being racist while talking about COVID, saying how it was bound to happen because the Chinese eat cats dogs and bats. Also throughout the whole time they would not wear masks properly and keep taking them off to speak to each other.
Also the nail polish bottles were all covered in a sticky residue, and the brushes were cleaned with hand sanitising gel not with alcohol as they should be.

This is my 3rd visit to Glam. Lauren the stylist is exceptionally skilled. She takes time to discuss what you would like and checks as she cuts. I have been to lots of salons in the past but at Glam the staff, Jodie and Lauren make you very welcome. Jodie even came to deliver my mobile phone to my house as I had inadvertently left it at the salon. Top marks from me definitely.
