Professional Background In 2010, Mr Joseph Yang undertook formal training in traditional Daoist culture at Wudang Mountain, Hubei Province, under Master Mi Jingzi’s Daoist Spiritual Cultivation Programme. He completed systematic training in Daoist Qi Cultivation (Zhen Qi Yun Xing), Internal Alchemy (Neidan), Breathing and Energy Cultivation (Tu Na), and Meditation, and was awarded a certificate upon completion. In 2012, he received hands-on clinical training in Daoist Tuina Massage under an experienced mentor at Kangmei Wellness Centre in Chengdu. In 2013, he graduated from Chongqing Kangli Traditional Chinese Medicine Vocational Training School, where he specialised in Yidu Daoist Tuina, a traditional massage technique recognised as part of Chongqing’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, and obtained professional certification. Mr Yang is a direct disciple of Master Mi Jingzi and the 39th-generation successor to the Mi Jingzi Daoist Wellness Tradition. He has devoted many years to the study and practice of Daoist Qi cultivation, meditation, breathing techniques, and traditional Daoist wellness methods.
