The manicure and gel nails were cheap in comparison to other places in the area but I found that my nails didn't have that 'shine' afterwards and the gels started peeling off less than 1 week after I'd had them done.

To be honest, I fail to understand how an express pedicure as expensive as £24 can be so basic - my big toe is smudged, along with a few other nails (could have done as good a job myself), and the treatment itself is in the dingy, cemented basement, which is cold, with a towel on the floor and your foot in someone's lap. Maybe it's because I am an American, but this kind of treatment just doesn't feel like pampering and is not on. No way it would earn more than two stars in my book. Staff are very friendly though - they did bring me a cup of tea which was a nice touch.

Julianna really did a great job, unlike many who cut corners not cuticles. She gave good advice about looking after my nails and wasn't in a hurry.
