On a short trip to London I decided to book a shellac nail appointment through Treatwell for the next day. I chose Free Style hair and beauty near Highgate tube station for noon, as my family and I were going to visit Highgate cenetery in the afternoon. I spent time plotting my journey there as I am not used to the underground system. I arrived at the salon early to be told that my appointment had been cancelled as the lone worker had a three hour hair appointment with another customer. She had tried to call me while I was travelling on the underground, so I had no signal. I had prepaid for this appointment and the money has been taken out of my account. I have emailed Treatwell but have only had an email asking me to review the salon. This whole experience has left me feeling ripped off and unwelcome.

The hairdresser asked what I wanted and gave me exactly that. Very quick and efficient. Really happy with the cut and blow dry. Would go again.

Had a shellac manicure, but unfortunately after 1 week it was already peeling off.
Not sure what went wrong, service was pretty good and very friendly staff.
