I would leave a zero rating if I could as I arrived at the salon to be told that they couldn’t do my hair. Further they had tried to call me to tell me this 3 minutes before my confirmed appointment time. Very disappointing and completely unsatisfactory! They suggested it could be done an hour later which wasn’t any help. Not impressed! The time I booked was when it was suitable. Additionally frustrating was that the salon also said they couldn’t refund me as I’d have to follow up with Treatwell. I won’t be using the salon or Treatwell again for hair appointments due to their unreliability. Not only that but my time was wasted travelling there as no one was considerate enough to let me know in reasonable time.
The staff were friendly and so lovely, and I’m so happy with my hair cut! All I would say is that I found that it took a long time from start to finish as they were multitasking with other clients. It wasn’t a problem for me as I wasn’t in any particular rush, but despite being a bit slow I was happy with the overall service.
Whilst I was on the whole happy with my haircut it was quite a bit passed the appointment time before I was seen and as a result I ended up being over an hour late for a celebration I was supposed to be at. The idea with me getting my hair done before the event was to take the stress away which due to the lateness didn't happen. I really wish I had paid attention to other reviews commenting on the lateness of the appointments. My impression is that they book in multiple people at the same time as there were only 2 people working but with 4 customers, once I was eventually seen I got my hair washed and then had to wait whilst the hairdresser switched to another customer. I also couldn't get my hair straightened as I simply did not have the time- doing so would have made me even later. The staff were friendly and it was a cheap deal but neither of those really did not made up for making me so late.
