The place was ok and the therapist was friendly but they double dip the wax which I personally think is bad practice.
Also, I asked for a hot wax and the therapist used a mixture of hot and warm wax. Her explanation was that my hair was too coarse for hot wax and that hot wax is only for soft hair. I’ve been getting Hollywood waxes for 10years and have never been told I was unsuitable. Perhaps the therapist didn’t have experience with Afro/black hair… and used this excuse. The price was reasonable but there were some stray hairs left that I had to pluck myself.

I’m a regular here and the gel manicures are the best I’ve found. The manicure lasts for ages and looks perfect. The staff are all great and it’s a friendly, clean and professional salon.
