Lovely treatment and experience but felt the therapist could of tailored the treatment to my specific needs or problematic areas . It was also not recommended when to return . Salon is very relaxing and staff are friendly :)
The lady carrying out the treatment was very friendly and made me feel very relaxed during treatment. She described each treatment and the benefits for my skin as they were carried out, which was really good to hear. The treatments were brilliant. Rather than just having a face mask, massage and creams applied (as with standard facials I've had), I really felt more benefit from the microdermabrasion and would consider having this done again. Came out feeling refreshed and glowing and would definitely recommend.
I had a stressful day and was expecting just a half an hour quick microdermabrasion, to have a full face massage , hydrating mask and hand and arm massage as well was great ! Leah was wonderful and I will definately book to go back. I got a discount but think it is worth the full price.
I really struggled with how many stars to give this treatment which was the ultimate facial. The treatment itself was good and my skin felt smooth afterwards, however, there was something really lacking with the treatment. Despite filling in an extensive consultation form, the therapist didn't ask me anything about skin concerns or what I was hoping to get out of the treatment. Also, I went into the room and it was just a case of lie down and get on with it. The treatment wasn't explained to me so I had no idea what was going to happen next. The final part involves a mask which was applied before the therapist explained it had to be left on for 15/20 minutes and promptly left the room. Anywhere else, you would expect a head or hand massage whilst this was on but I guess this place is more of a skincare clinic than a spa. I should also mention I could hear the therapists having a good chat outside whilst my mask was on so it wasn't very relaxing either. After the mask was removed, moisturiser was applied to my skin (guessing as again not explained) and that was it over. I'm glad I didn't pay the full price for this treatment which I believe is over £100 as I would have made a complaint. As mentioned the treatment itself made my skin lovely and smooth but there was a definite lack of an experience around it. I would need to see a special offer on before I would return.
