Lucy had an established clinic in neighbouring Hackney Wick for 4 years and in 2020 relocated her practice to Fix East Village. Lucy is a registered therapist with both the Association of Soft Tissue Therapists (SMA) and The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and holds numerous qualifications. She has studied in London, Oxford, Los Angeles and Bali, graduating with a distinction in Level 5 Sports Massage Therapy, one of the highest qualifications available in Remedial Massage. She holds additional diplomas in Holistic Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Pilates and is a certified Trigger Point Therapist and Reiki Master. Throughout her life, intensifying during an initial career in photographic post-production she developed chronic stress, chronic neck pain, migraines, intermittent hip and lower back pain, and she yearned for more movement. She discovered Yoga, trained as a Circus Aerialist then changed careers to perform. While strength training to high levels she became obsessed with anatomy and best practice to train injury-free. After training in Remedial Massage Therapy she realised she had found her calling in helping others avoid injury, treat acute and chronic pain and the effects of stress on the body and mind. Now pain-free, an avid yogi and still in love with strength training, she combines a wide range of techniques in her treatments. She provides training tips, exercises and lifestyle advice to prevent issues from returning. She believes all pain can be resolved if you can address the root cause, which is why she works holistically to do just that.
