Steve is an experienced sports and deep tissue massage therapist and personal trainer. He began his career as a PT, working with a mixed range of clients ranging from beginners to athletes. During this time, Steve was highly active doing a variety of exercise, including long-distance running, boxing and HIIT training. This eventually caused musculoskeletal issues to occur, which were alleviated by regular massage. Steve became fascinated with the benefits and results of the treatments and decided to become a sports therapist. Steve’s treatments are designed to help relieve chronic muscular tension, reduce the impact of injuries, reduce scar tissue, improve flexibility, improve posture, boost recovery from exercise and ease short-term and chronic pain, such as lower back pain. Sports massage isn’t just for those who are into fitness, it’s also for those who live a stressful, physical and emotional lifestyle. The massage aspect of his treatments will get into the deeper layers of the muscles to help release knots and tension. Steve’s personal training background allows him to provide post-treatment exercises and stretches. When combining regular massage and home plans, you have a better chance of achieving your goals. The journey is just as important as the destination so let’s work together to get you there!

She also trained in Deep tissue and Pregnancy Massage from the School of Natural Therapies in London. In 2018, in India she qualified as Hatha Yoga instructor. Lia spent many years training and performing in a variety of fields, ranging from Dance, Flamenco, Acrobatics and Capoeira. Life events lead to the desire to complement this background and learn therapies to treat bodies using hands as tools. After her initial qualification as a Massage Therapist in 1997 Lia has studied a number of courses. The most influential for her were Thai Massage, Sports Massage, Pulsing and Myofascial Release. The way she massages today is influenced by these different treatment styles and her hands-on experience throughout the years. She has found that the slow and deep strokes from Myofascial Release produce excellent results to release deep seated tension patterns and adhesions as well as being profoundly relaxing, that’s why it has become her preferred massage style. Lia studied with the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) under the guidance of Katherine Ukleja who has also been the tutor of many of her postgraduate courses, which include Stress, Trauma, Cranial Nerves, Behind the Smile (Vagus Nerve), the Hyoid, Focusing, the Pelvis and Women Health. She also completed a course working with Pregnant Women, Mothers and Babies. In her work Lia has supported people with general states of stress, depression and anxiety as well as the emotional and physical traumas resulting from accidents and post-surgery. She also works with many people with non-specific back and neck aches with great results. Some of her regular clients use sessions as a tool for general wellbeing and a better sense of self.
