I had a trim but I was concerned as he didn't separate my parting and didn't use the usual method my previous hair dresses have used. All in all I came out with a good trim but I wouldn't go back to have a more technical cut.

The salon isn't particularly swanky itself but the blow dry was great and my therapist was really good.

I booked this deal with Figaro as it was excellent value, however in advance of my appointment I phoned and spoke to a very helpful male receptionist and swapped the 'cut' portion for a deep conditioning treatment instead as my hair did not need cutting, but I wanted to take advantage of the great cost of the wash and blow dry.
I was running about ten minutes late for my appointment but as I phoned they were very understanding and made me feel more relaxed by saying not to rush. Please be aware that to get to the salon my googlemaps took me from Old Street station through a housing estate and some off the beaten track, unlit paths, I wondered where on earth it was taking me but I was on foot for around ten minutes before I reached the salon, next time I will just take an Uber!!
Upon arrival I was offered coffee and tea by a friendly receptionist and was shortly after taken through for my wash. The salon is bright and welcoming everything looked really new, they were also playing really nice deep house music quite loud which I loved! The Stylist gave me an excellent wash and I really zoned out, she massaged the deep conditioner in really well and I was left to chill. The only thing I noted was that there weren't any magazines visible to read so I just caught up on things on my phone instead which was no hardship, but it would of been nice to have a flick through a mag. The Blow dry itself was incredible!! I have thick, past shoulder length hair and was in the chair for perhaps just under two hours. I was really happy with the service and the blow dry, my big hair lasted all weekend and I have only just washed it out this morning ;-)
Upon leaving there was some confusion from the receptionist who tried to charge me extra for the conditioner even though I said I had phoned in advance and arranged to swap this, and after she saw the note on my booking from the previous day she apologised and I was free to go. All round a great experience and will 100% go back, just make sure you book that Uber to and from the station if it's raining!

Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. Gave me invaluable tips on how to handle my newly coloured hair.
