Decided last minute to get a cut, and was able to get in here. The cut was fine but I ended up asking for something different than I actually wanted - I have a side parting and wanted some layers, but the hairdresser insisted on cutting it from a middle parting despite me asking twice to cut it as it’s styled. I’ve had a side parting for 10 years now, and had multiple hairdressers also cut from a middle parting, and it is never even when styled it there is any more than the simplest of layering because of that. So I asked for less layers and to have it the same length all the way round as I’m not actually that fussed on how it’s cut as long as it looks even.
I have quite thick hair that gets oily quickly, and the hairdresser put so much oily product in my hair drying it that it looked and felt like it hadn’t been washed.
Overall the cut was fine, all the staff were nice, and it was sufficient for a last minute appointment, but I’ll probably try a different place next time
