The wax was really thorough and quick, which was the upside, and considering the price I think it was good value for money. On the down side, the salon has a very clinical feel, from the thin tissue on the bed to not being provided a towel after I got undressed and waited for the therapist to re-enter the partitioned area (only separated by a curtain). If you are looking for a cheap and decent wax, go here, but if you want to feel totally at easy, maybe go somewhere else.
All in all happy with my experience.
What I was looking for was a quick haircut of my ends that I didn't have to pay a fortune for because my hair is very thin and I don't have a lot of it, it doesn't take very long and therefore I hate having to pay through the roof. At Fahmina's beauty spot I got a dry cut for £20 and it was exactly what I wanted and needed. Simple, took about 10 minutes, the lady that helped me was very friendly, we had a lovely chat. Will go again because it's right around the corner from me and the value for money is really good.
I called to let them know that I would arrive late and they had no issues in accommodating that which was great! On top of the bar next to the mirror I did see a basket of brushes and combs that were really dirty, like brushes with lots of hair in and the combs like with white stuff in the back of the comb teeth, and I was really hoping that was not going to be used on me (which it wasn't, thankfully). Also the general place wasn't so clean and tidy, but it wasn't terrible either.
