Makeup beautifully done in a petite, bright and airy studio in the heart of Shoreditch. I chose not to go for one of the suggested looks and asked the makeup artist to create a bespoke Disco inspired look. After consulting with me on how dramatic I wished to go (very!) and asking about my outfit and personal preferences etc, she spent time carefully applying my chosen look and the end result was fabulous. She was easy to talk to and extremely professional; she even called me beforehand to ensure I knew the way to the studio (which has recently moved). If I’m ever in the area again I’ll be back.

I came to Facebar for a tutorial with Carly - it has completely changed my make up abilities. Had been to Facebar a couple of times before with amazing results - but wanted to learn how to do a basic look myself. Now I have a much better handle on how to maximise my own make up collection and feel confident with my own skillset. Looking forward to going back in the summer to learn more!

I love going to Facebar. I used to come here for first dates or before a nervewracking event, for a Full Look service (which made me feel chic, confident and relaxed). Now I come to Facebar on a weekly basis for a Fast Fix (a cheaper option but with great results). Partly I come for a confidence boost, but also to wash the week's stresses away, to learn make up tips, and to be put into a happy mood by the calm and body positive make up artists. Some people get their nails done regularly - for me Facebar is my version of that self-care routine. 10/10 recommended.
