Salon looks quite nice and modern on initial inspection. The waxing room's walls do not fully meet the ceiling, meaning others can hear what you discuss whilst being treated. The table you lie on has a plastic sheet on top, then a thin layer of tissue paper. A towel or cotton sheet in between these layers would have been beneficial as you stick to the table when getting up or turning. Therapist did not pull skin taut whilst waxing, which resulted in increased pain and bruising. More patches of hair than usual were missed and I was left with a glob of hot wax on my pubic hair to remove later when I got home. No skin prep applied before waxing. No soothing aloe post. I was handed a bottle of oil to rub on sticky bits while the technician stayed in the room which was awkward due to the nature of waxing. Therapist was very kind and chatty.
