I had my eyebrows and upper lip done today. Very good service. A calm, inviting environment for clients. Darshi really discusses with you on what you would like and what she thinks is best for your brows. Good price for amazing results and is open later than most. A real professional. I highly recommend and will be going back. A new eyebrow journey approaching😊
I am very disappointed with the outcome of my recent treatment. I had booked a pedicure, and while the service began well, the experience quickly deteriorated when the next client arrived 30 minutes early. My pedicure was not yet finished, as the nail polish applied had not dried. For at least 20 minutes, the technician struggled to get the polish to set, even trying to dry it under a UV lamp (despite it being regular nail polish). It was clear she was frustrated as well, but the polish simply wasn’t drying.
Instead of asking the early client to wait, the technician invited her into the private room where I was still being treated, which made me feel uncomfortable. As the polish was still not dry, the technician asked me what I wanted to do. At that point, I just said I would leave and finish drying it at home, as I no longer felt comfortable lying there while another client was present.
While packing up, the technician brushed against my nail and smudged the polish. Rather than taking responsibility, she asked me again what I wanted to do—something I felt should not have been left to me to decide. Frustrated, I asked her to remove the polish altogether.
She told me she could rebook me the next morning, which I agreed to and confirmed later that day. While confirming, she explained that I would need to pick another colour, and then asked me whether I preferred shellac or regular nail polish. I told her that due to my concerns about drying issues, I would prefer shellac. To my surprise, she informed me that shellac would cost an additional £10, despite the fact that the problem arose due to her mistake.
I ultimately canceled the appointment, as I found it unacceptable to be asked to pay more when the initial service was not completed properly. Not only did this situation require me to take additional time and incur travel expenses, but I was also expected to pay extra on top of what should have been resolved during my original booking.
What disappoints me most is not the mistake itself—those can happen—but the lack of accountability and the expectation that I should pay more for a problem caused by the salon. In situations like this, customers should be offered a resolution or refund, not additional charges.
Absolutely love my brows! The shape is perfect, so natural yet defined. They really frame my face beautifully! I’ve had so many salons do my brows, nobody has matched Lady Darshi x. Highly recommend honestly. She is absolutely amazing and so hospitable. Will be back in 3 weeks x
