After carefully searching for weeks for someone to do my makeup I came across Erika’s makeup services. All the reviews kept saying how amazing she is but I’ve been burnt before by “good” reviews and got a very disappointing service so I looked her up on various other platforms because someone somewhere must have left a bad review but nothing. As this was the first time getting my makeup done professionally and it was for a work Christmas party I had to be 110% sure that I’m in good hands. I took the decision to book it in and I show up on the day clearly tired, pale, looking almost lifeless.
Erika from the very first second she said hi she was like this gorgeous mermaid glowing. Her makeup looked finessed although simple. I was already starting to feel that I’m safe in her hands. We went through what look I had in mind and I kid you not I went from looking like the swamp monster to catwalk ready in less than an hour! Most importantly, Erika made sure to work with enhancing my own facial features rather than trying to alter them to make me look like another person. I was ecstatic with the result because I was comfortable and confident as I looked like an improved version of myself but it really felt like her work was magic!
From the moment I set foot at the Christmas party everyone was complimenting me on my makeup look! Especially the girls that will just stop me and be like “OMG, your makeup is absolutely gorgeous!” and nothing is a better compliment than other women saying you look good, am i right?
So all I gotta say is Erika’s skills are out of this world! If you’re sceptical just like I was, one appointment with Erika will convert you into a firm believer!

Although self taught, Erika has 7 years experience in the industry working for MAC cosmetics, during her time there she completed all of the MAC qualifications to the highest artistic level and assisted as a member of the MAC pro body painting team at events around the U.K.
