I moved to Camden about two years ago and have been searching for a good saloon since then. Almost tried all hairdressers around camden town station and none were good enough until I found Eric’s. Both Eric and Jana are great and are real artist in my opinion. I’m glad I don't need to look any further!
I rescheduled the visit on the day and it was a mistake as they clearly sent me to the girl who was still learning. I asked for layers on my mid hair saying I need it Well Cut as they haven't been cut for a while. When the girl said she finished I was stunned. she literally cut my ends and a bit here and there. I told her I am not sure its OK...normally a hairdresser spends at least 10-15 main more going through my hair as they are quite thick. I got up and started to look through the layers of my fringe on the side...I showed her the bits and bobs still hanging out - uneven! she said I should take it to the side as this is my side fringe! at this point I went to the owner asking what he thinks. He did attend to me straight away and started to correct it. He didn't however asked what I exactly wanted and started cutting my fringe making it more puffy. I always want my fringe on the side bit longer not shorter as I have a round face. I told him to stop it as its already too short. The worst however was the fact the lady behaved like a student on her first day: she talked to me for ages while she actually stopped doing my hair and answered 3 times messages on her phone while cutting my hair. By the 3 time I told her I am kind of in the hurry, course I just couldn't take it anymore. She wasn't moved at all and slowely put her phone down. I looked at my hair today and they just don't look good. All of that for the same price as I would be with the normal stylist. If somebody is still learning they should at least make sure they watch her work and check it on the end!
