The venue was nice, very clean and good amount of space in the treatment room (however there wasn’t really anywhere to put my clothes when I de-robed). I did have to wait a little while for attention from staff, but once they did notice me, I was offered a drink. (Maybe not enough staff that day as they seemed a little rushed between treatments?). The upstairs was nice and airy, and the treatment rooms were down it the basement which was cosy and had the intimacy and privacy you would want. I had a back neck and shoulder massage. Now, I like a deep pressure but this was intense. It wasn’t so bad at the time, but the next day I was feeling very bruised and sore and stiff. I have long term back issues and was hoping to feel a bit of release but not here unfortunately. I think maybe the therapist is not experienced in deep tissue technique very much. I think maybe this is a good place if you want a light touch massage, but if you have back problems and usually require an adept hand at dealing sensitively with tightness, this may not be for you. Also, the therapist had quite sharp nails - I actually really like the sensation this gave but I understand it may not be for everyone.
