Very good experience. Nails were excellent. Salon is lovely. Nice and relaxing. They have a very good choice of colours of shellac etc. Would defo go back.
Really good experience. Lovely salon, good attention to detail. Used hot wax which is less painful than regular wax. Highly recommend
I booked the Deluxe Pamper Day - Facial and Full Body Massage as a treat just after Christmas. Overall it was a wonderful experience, with some small areas that could be improved. The welcome was friendly but it would have been nice for someone to have taken my coat (I sat with it on my lap while I waited) and to have been offered a glass of water (I have been offered one on previous visits, but not this time - in the end I asked for one). I asked the lady behind the desk to check that everything was marked as paid on their system, as after my last visit it was a bit awkward standing about waiting for them to confirm I'd already paid. I used the bathroom before my treatment and found it could have done with a clean, especially the sink. My therapist (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was wonderful - very competent and professional, and I felt in good hands (literally!). One thing I really didn't like was the music - some sort of free-form jazz with panpipes, the worst I've heard in any spa. Towards the end some birdsong came on which was a welcome relief, but before long the panpipes started up again! The table was a little narrow - as a size 18 there wasn't any room for me to rest my arms alongside my body, but I found a comfortable way to hold them in the end. The 'hole' in the table was a little uncomfy at first but I settled into it eventually. Gripes aside, the massage and facial were just brilliant - both relaxing and productive (a stubborn knot in my shoulder is long gone!), and my skin feels amazing. There was no hard sell in terms of product recommendations at the end, which I appreciated, and a record of what was done in my facial has been kept on file so we can pick up where we left off next time. I would come back to Essential Therapy for a facial and/or massage without hesitation, and would happily recommend it to others. The only other thing to mention is that the package description on Treatwell lists both the massage and the facial as lasting 1 hour, but we started at 11:05 and finished at 12:50 so it was 15 minutes short. Not the end of the world, and to be honest both treatments felt lengthy and complete, but worth mentioning as I did notice it (perhaps the description should be changed?).
Great value and really great service. The therapist was attentive and friendly and gave me some samples of products used to try at home.
First time having threading at essential therapy and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive and the therapist did an excellent job.
