I went to Essential Therapy a few weeks ago for a facial and massage. The salon was beautiful and extremely clean, and the therapist was really knowledgeable and friendly. She went through the treatments with me before she started and made sure she concentrated on my sore shoulder during the massage which really helped to ease the pain. The facial was lovely and relaxing and my skin looked amazing afterwards. I will definitely go back here again.
I thought the treatment was wonderful and Emma the therapist was great! She explained everything very well and took her time to get to know my skin
I loved the last back and shoulder massage I had here, so I was looking forward to having the same again - I even paid extra to include a scalp massage. Sadly I was disappointed. The service was impersonal - sort of 'hiya, get on the table' - which is unusual for Essential Therapy. I felt like a box of cereal being beeped through a supermarket checkout! The massage itself was just okay. I mentioned tension in my shoulders but they were barely touched, and the scalp massage was nothing like I'd expected. I love getting my hair washed at the hairdresser and I thought it'd be something like that, but it was mainly pressure points being pressed, and my hair being tugged a bit. It felt really lacklustre. I really needed a treat today and didn't feel like I got one. My shoulders still feel tense, and I wish I'd just saved my money :(

I made an appointment with Essential therapy for my wedding, to include lash extensions, shellac on my nails and a spray tan. I was pretty nervous specifically about the spray tan incase I had a white wedding dress/tan disaster, on arrival I was immediately put at ease by the therapist who assured me the tan came in different colours and it wouldn't end up too dark and would sink in nicely! I firstly had my shellac done on my nails, I just opted for their file and polish version of shellac and it was great, there were many options for a French and she made sure I was really happy each step of the way. Then I had lash extensions applied and once again she gave me loads of options regarding the curl/length and im so so happy about the finished result, which looks completely natural and lovely! finally the result of my spray tan was very natural and very even all over colour. I felt my best on my big day and I will definitely be returning!
Me and my friend came to get a spray tan 2 days ago. My friend's tan turned out extremely dark and ORANGE to say the least. Mine on the otherhand, was so pale and patchy there was no point in even getting the tan done. This was my first experience at Essential Therapy (and my last!!!). The woman with short hair who did the tan was less than sociable, it appeared that she did not even enjoy her job. The tanning room itself couldn't even be called a tanning room. I have never been in such a small CUPBOARD to get a spray tan done. Awful experience.
