I had a great time having a manicure with Essential Therapy. The nail bar is in a bit of an odd position beside the main door and because it's a busy period for the salon you get lots of walk-ins. As there is no dedicated receptionist (or maybe the salon was just that busy) the therapist had to keep getting up to deal with queries and incoming appointments. I don't mind that at all, but it was notable if you're looking for that absolute 1-on-1 experience. However, the manicure is perfect, the therapist was lovely and all other clients I saw leave the salon looked so happy with their treatments. I would definitely go back and use the salon again.
I've been to Essential Therapy a couple of times and both times it was a really positive experience. I really appreciated how much the therapist wanted to know about what areas were causing tension, and had a really good treatment. It's also a surprisingly peaceful place considering, noisy noisy Broughton St is right outside.
Had my first Hollywood at Essential Therapy today and it was so much better than I thought it was going to be! My therapist was great and it not at all as painful as I had imagined. Also have had shellac done at Essential therapy before and compared to others it was definitely the longest-lasting. Treatments here can be a bit more pricey than other places but they are worth it. Highly recommended!
