I’ve always had a good experience in this salon sadly today the lady who gave me a wax was very pushy. I booked a strip wax because I prefer this over hot wax. I know most people prefer hot wax but I really don’t like it. even when booking the strip wax on treatwell she told me she was gonna do a hot wax anyways. she said I would prefer it. I told her I really don’t like it and still she went ahead. she even said “you’ll see, and if you like it, then you give me an extra 5£, if you don’t like it, we leave it like that’. I was surprised about the 5£. a hot wax is advertised as 23£ and strip as 20£ so not sure why there would suddenly be an extra charge of 5£. Anyways, I was not comfortable with the hot wax. told her that and the attitude changed. Clearly she didn’t like the fact that I didn’t like the hot wax. Although she was lovely throughout I feel it’s very inappropriate to push clients to do something they repeatadly mention they DON’T want. might change salon as this was highly unpleasant. they were pushy last time as well but this was something else...

Great experience - so many nail polish colours to choose from! Ended up getting my eyebrows threaded rather than waxed but they look amazing and the technician was brilliant!
