I had a horrible pedicure experience and when I spoke to the reception to try and resolve the issue I was told the salon is separate and that the owner of Ellisix would contact me. It took me calling several times and emailing tghe manager only to be offered a measly 15% off my next treatment. I have emailed the manager back she has not bothered to respond. Keep in mind my treatment was in May and it is now July.
The experience started with a poor description on the website as to what the treatment would consist of. Long story short the therapist tried accommodating me for a full pedicure by sticking me on a bed in a super small room with my legs twisted to the side and in the massage bucket to the side on a chair with water only (I thought a pedicure is supposed to be a nice relaxing experience?) After painting my toes and leaving me to sit outside and let them dry, the therapist touched my nails and told me that they were dry (even though I was willing to sit there until they were totally dry) and said I was good to go. I said I didn’t mind waiting to prevent the polish from smearing and she said they were dry. She insisted on wrapping my toes in clingfilm and coating them in oil stating it worked fine with other clients so they definitely would not smear. I got home and my toenails were wrecked. So much for a nice pedicure for my holiday the next day. Granted I didn’t take flip flops but I listened to the professional. I had said I could sit there until they dried and I felt pushed out of the salon. Sounds like a silly experience but I am just disappointed the business was not responsive with my feedback and claimed because I had left the salon there was nothing they could do, even though I called as soon as I got home! Not responding and telling me I am wrong is a poor way of dealing with a complaint. Overall, poor atmosphere in a basement, poor service and poor way of dealing with customer feedback.
