Appalling service.
I was unable to book eyebrow wax, eyebrow and eyelash tint and haircut one after the other so booked two separate appointments on (I did not have a problem visiting twice as I live 10 minutes from the venue). I arrived for my first appointment early and was asked to wait. I regularly have my eyebrows threaded so was clear on the shape I wanted. The end result was poor. My eyebrows were thinner at the front and poorly shaped. The beautician did not check my booking correctly and was not aware I had also booked an eyebrow and eyelash tint. Once the dye was removed, there was no difference between how my lashes and eyebrows looked before to after.
I was asked to take a seat afterwards to have my haircut. My appointment was booked 2 hours later but it seemed they were able to see me sooner as it was not busy. Not once did any other staff members acknowledge me while I was waiting or offer a tea/coffee (as is common practice in all salons I have visited before.) I sat for 15 minutes before leaving.
I was reluctant to go back and have my haircut later that day after my experience but had a wedding event to attend that evening and was unable to find an alternative place at such short notice.
I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment, scheduled for 5.30pm. (I had tried to call ahead repeatedly to see if I could be seen sooner but there was no answer.) Again, I was asked I take a seat.
One lady finished with a customer at 5.25pm but instead of asking if I would like to be seen, a customer arriving 15 minutes late for her appointment was given priority.
5.30 came and went and again, no one apologised for the wait or acknowledged me/offered a drink. At 5.45pm, with no indication of when I would be seen, I was unable to wait any longer and explained this and asked for my money back.
I was told I could only do this through Treatwell. The refund procedure was explained to me (it seems this is not the first time a customer has requested a refund at this salon).
In total, I wasted 55 minutes on my second trip to this salon. Not only was this stressful in preparing for the wedding event, I was not able to even have my hair cut.
I am astonished at the reviews on here and would not be surprised if many of them are fake.
Please save your time and money and use it wisely at a place that values its customers.
