This was an unusual experience - the venue was actually in someone's home. In their converted garage to be more specific! When I arrived I had to wait in the hallway and heard all of the usual home goings-on. I was then taken in and had my eye brow ans eyelash tint whilst sharing the room with a lady who had obviously had a facial or a massage. I then had half of my pedicure before I was asked to wait outside whilst a client was 'quickly' fitted in for a Hollywood wax! I went back in after about 20 minutes and finished my pedicure and manicure. By this time I had been there over 3 hours. The beautician's family then arrived and it became clear that they had a family wedding that evening and they needed to get themselves ready and had other places to be! As the beautician had happily agreed to a gel manicure rather than a standard one, I agreed to forfeit my facial and pay the same price (£50) for the shellac manicure, pedicure, eyelash and eyebrow tint....I got an upgraded manicure but forfeited the facial. The beautician offered to do my facial another day but as I am going on holiday this was not an option. All in all, the treatments I received were of excellent quality and the beautician and her family were very welcoming and pleasant. The treatment was excellent value. Please don't book this if you are looking for a relaxing spa like treatment as this is not what this lady is about.
