Overall good experience. Gave me advice regarding my pimple treatment. Played relaxing music during the facial and was rather pleasant. Very convenient location and would go again/ would recommend friends.
I was a little apprehensive when arriving at the salon - it's above shops in China Town. You climb a fairly grubby set of stairs (no lift, I was pooped when I reached the top) wondering what on earth is going to greet you at the top. However, it's a bussling salon, with the hair bit on the left, the treatment rooms to the right and the reception desk right in front of you. There's a small seating area just by the door also. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and I felt myself relaxing and smiling almost straight away. My massage was simply amazing. I like a fairly strong massage as I have a lot of knots and tension. The massage therapist was a small lady who at times was on the table using her body weight to move me around and release all the tension. I felt completely comfortable if I needed her to go a bit more gently, or to increase the pressure. I left feeling a stone lighter! Great value: I paid £22 using a Mobdeal which was amazing value, they had a special offer of £33 in the salon and I think the normal price is £40. I'll definitely return, either when they do another offer or as soon as I have a bit more cash to spare!
I've been here a few times and the massages are always great. It seems like a normal busy salon, but the private rooms where you have your massage done are very nice and relaxing. The therapists really know what they are doing and listen to you. I highly recommend this place for massages. Great value for money.
I was looking to have a massage which applies strong pressure, rather than the ones where they just smear oil on your body. I asked for the Thai massage and it was great. Pressure was applied at the right points which relieved my tension, but not too hard as to leave any muscle pain. The venue isn't ambient as it's within a hair dresser, but I would definitely recommend the place for a nice strong massage.
In the middle of china town, top floor, back of a busy hairdressers. Thai masseuse. I was led through to the room and told to strip off and then left there for 20 MINUTES. So long in fact, that I got dressed again and went to find my therapist who apologised as she was having her lunch. She was very sweet, and I felt a bit bad for getting shirty but... Massage was less than an hour. Room was cold and scruffy with music blaring through the walls. i didn't feel that relaxed afterwards but i think that was because i was getting this done in my lunchbreak and i was worrying about being late back. I wouldn't recommend it strongly - but its ok if you are short of cash and long on time.
