I had a good experience at Elegant studio. During the wash they gave me a nice massage which is always nice and the blow dry was spot on. I will go back.

While the venue is not the most luxurious, the staff are very professional and the massage was fantastic. The therapist focuses on the knots in my shoulders and did a great job overall.

The most disappointing part of the experience was that my massage was very clearly not catered to me as the masseuse was either ill experienced or wasn't really committed to making my experience exceptional. I have a lot of trouble areas on my back, and was in desperate need of a deep tissue massage to smooth out some knots. I could tell that the masseuse could recognise these trouble areas as she would hover over each spot and attempt to relieve them, but she never successfully did manage to get them out. She would just rub against them a couple of times and then move on. All in all it wasn't really worth the time or money, I'd say. I should've just spent my money on a proper sports massage from a professional.

The place was very busy and during the massage i could only hear other peoples chatter but what I had an issue with was the actual massage itself. Honestly, it felt like torture, the masseuse appeared to use her knuckles on my back, I told her that the pressure was too deep and to try and be more light but she kept going back to the same pressure. I woke up the next day with half my back in complete pain, I most definitely will not be returning.

For the location and the massage, this is super worth value as the massage is extremely good and completely hit the right spots- however as per other reviews the sound insulation was so bad that I could literally hear every single gossip from the next doors (worst part was I could understand Cantonese). So 5 stars for the superb massage but 1 star for the ambiance and spa facilities. Please please improve the sound insulation as I really love this place.
