As other reviews have mentioned this is a beauty school in an old building. The therapist explained the treatment and the overall treatment was good. They used a vacuum machine to do the lymphatic massage then a little bit of normal massage. The vaccum was an interesting experience as I've previously had a normal hand massage but I definitely think the vacuum works well.
awful place, but the service wasn't horrible. a bit unprofessional, they had no drinks and I really wanted a coffee, so I was sent to buy one…
No, I will not be going back- go somewhere else- unprofessional staff and over priced for the service you receive.
When I arrived at reception, there seemed to be some confusion about my booking, they didn't seem very well organised. Eventually they were able to notify the masseuse that I had arrived for my appointment. She took me through an endless list of 'medical' questions, I even had to tell them how many portions of fruits, vegetables and proteins I eat on an average day. I see the use of a short health check before a massage, but this was a bit too detailed I thought, it took ages. Eventually the massage started. I was very happy with the massage itself, although the massage therapist had a cold (she kept clearing her nose). Also, her nails were quite long for a massage therapist and scratched me now and then - which I didn't mind.
Overall, a good experience, especially because I didn't pay much (I had two vouchers) and because the place is conveniently located for me. As this is a beauty academy, maybe their prices should be a small bit lower?
I was welcomed and offered a glass of water in the small reception area. I chose the shoulders & back and front & backs of leg option and was very pleased with the massage and therapist. The overall experience was much better than my Initial impression on entering what looks like an old town hall building.
