Horrific - staff was super rude, it became clear they had mixed up bookings and my appointment wasn’t expected. Instead of apologising they acted as if they were doing me a favour even though I said I could come back at a less busy time or alternatively get my money back as I had pre paid and just go somewhere else. My stylist didn’t speak to me at all during the whole time I was there. He only asked a few questions here and there such as if the water was a good temperature and my appointment was 3 hours! The rest he just worked in silence which made it very awkward. I felt like he was annoyed I was there and he had to do my hair. They also did my hair in the basement not in the salon. I was sat in a room next to a washing machine which was on so that’s the sound I was listening too whilst having an angry man do my highlights. I assume this was due to social distancing but nothing was explained or apologised for to make me more comfortable. All clients wore masks but my stylist only wore a visor and was breathing down on me the whole time. Think stylists should wear masks too to make sure clients are protected just as much as them but was too afraid to ask him to wear one as he seemed very aggressive. My hair also turned into a big ball of mess, almost like chewing gum was stuck in my hair, which he then spent 20-30 minutes trying to brush out, ive had highlights done for years without a problem so no clue what he had done. My scalp is now in pain from all the pulling and brushing and I’ve probably lost a few more hairs than intended. He then just dried it with his fingers as a comb and said I was done. I asked him to please brush it at least before I left which he did but was very annoyed I asked. Overall very uncomfortable experience and I would never return.

After a bit of confusion about the payment I have done in advance and some rescheduling from their side, I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely atmosphere, the cleanliness and the haircut: exactly what I have asked! I will be back to try a new colour too!

Not a great experience considering the 5* reviews, very rushed and no customer care - no proper consultation or welcome. Haircut was ok but won’t be returning
