Friendly easy going atmosphère, grenat cut, excellent value for money
Lovely venue, good cut
LOVE my haircut and blow dry by Anna. Gorgeous finish, I could barely feel her drying it, some places feel like they’re tearing your hair out when you ask for a wavy finish! So relaxing. And when she washed my hair I was taken to a lovely spa type room with a massaging chair. Will definitely be coming back.
Lovely salon. Friendly staff. Had a good cut and colour, which I'm very happy with :) Claudio is very professional. Good service: I got a pot of tea and later a latte. The chair you lie on when they wash your hair is a masage chair, very relaxing. Highly recommend this salon.
Went to EcoHair to have my balayage redone, have had my hair balayage for over two years. On the day the salon was nice enough apart from the fact the fire alarms were going off continuously and the very narrow steep stairs down to the basement where the wash basins are. Initially was happy with my hair, though I could tell it was slightly brassy, after the wavy blow dry it didn’t look too bad (although I wasn’t shown the back with a mirror). However when I got home I could tell that my hair was much brassier than it had ever been before after bleaching, I’m don’t know if the lighting in the salon made it look lighter but it looked a lot worse when I left. The following day I applied my own toner that I had been recommended to use but this made no difference. Another hairdresser had advised me that the bleach hadn’t been left on long enough and a toner wouldn’t touch it, there was a number of different colours and tones throughout my hair and I was also advised that the balayage was very uneven. I contacted the salon at the next available opportunity to resolve this issue as I had my graduation the following day and it wasn’t possible for me to keep my hair this way. I spoke with the manager who told me the owner would be in contact, but I didn’t hear back. I went into the salon that day but there were no hairdressers in, only the beauty therapist who I can’t fault as she was lovely and seemed to be the only one wanting to help. As my graduation was the next day, I had no choice but to buy a home dye and go back to my natural colour (though as I said it’s taken me two and a half years to get to the colour I wanted but i had no other choice unfortunately!). I finally heard from the owner via email 5 days later who basically told me I had signed the disclaimer so there wasn’t anything they could do even though I paid over £200 for this treatment, They offered a complementary treatment but why would I want to return to the salon after a) the state they left my hair in the first time round, b) I had already had to put a home dye on, as despite numerous calls to the salon and follow ups the owner didn’t contact me till nearly a week later and c) the poor customer service i received. I would not recommend this salon, it is extremely overpriced, shoddy results and not very professional or organised. Save your money and your time, wish I could upload pictures as a deterrence?
