If you want to be looked after and get a tailor-made treatment book an appointment at Duchess. Great service delivered by their beautician Barbara, hot drinks and water offered by a manager, nice and friendly staff. My first hair-cut, the hairdresser Roya knew exactly what style would work, I will stick with Roya from now on.

I was pleasently surprised with the friendliness off the staff; I was offered something to drink, my jacket was hung up and the wifi password was given to me without hesitation.
However... I was made to wait 20 mins after my hair had already been wet because there was a problem with the boiler (apparently). This caused a delay to the rest of my plans, so I wasn't too happy.
My blowdry was okay. The stylist explained the products she would be using to suit my needs and also paid attention to how I wanted it to look. My reason for it only being "okay" is that my blowdry didn't last at all; had I paid full price for it, I would have certainly gone back to get my money back.
