Dr. Kavena Mahenthiran MBBS BSc (Hons) is a GMC registered medical doctor and aesthetics practitioner, based in London. She completed her medical training at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and also holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering with honours from Queen Mary University of London. With her medical background and experience in different medical and surgical fields, she is well equipped at treating clients holistically. Dr Kavena has trained under world-renowned prestigious academies including Derma Institute and Harley Academy. She is a GP Registrar with experience working in dermatology, therefore she is well versed in treating common skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and eczema. Dealing with her own skin issues, and being exposed to it in her patients, led her to develop a particular interest in cosmetic dermatology. She also has a specialised interest in skin of colour, being of colour herself, she is experienced in treating skin of colour and takes a particular interest in skin conditions more prone in these clients such as hyperpigmentation and acne. She is keen on educating regarding the difference in coloured skin and how it should be handled differently. Her treatment aims to ensure her clients leave feeling comfortable in their skin. She places emphasis on treating skin care concerns, and adding injectable treatments to give subtle and natural results.
