The venue seemed clean and the receptionist was very friendly. I was shown to a back room which was inviting and warm. I didn’t feel like my therapist really consulted with me about my skin before hand. She just examined it quickly before starting the facial. During the facial the therapist was quite rough with my skin, not something I was expecting. After the facial my skin was red which I thought would go down the next day. Instead my skin continued to swell and become red and do so again the next day and become very painful. I feel I must have had a severe allergic reaction. With a more thorough consultation and examination I feel this may have been avoided.
