Dion was a nice little salon and easy to find. Staff were attentive and listened to what I wanted and offered advice on my hair and things to try.
Very good haircut - extremely good value.
Pretty welcoming staff and my hairdresser was very quick and efficient. It took less than one hour to cut my hair. Very pleased with the end result and likely to go again. A little disappointed card payment was not available in the shop (might pay for it online next time), so I had to step out to get some cash out... also, I was charged £3 more (service advertised as £28) but that may have been down to hair length so not bothered..
The staff were warm and welcoming and the salon itself was fine. I wasn't particularly impressed with the cut itself as I feel I ended up with the one thing I specified that I didn't want. Having said that I would probably try them again giving more specific guidance on what I would like.
I hate going to the hairdresser, I'd much rather go to the dentist - ultimately it's less painful. Last time I went to get my hair done - not at Dions - I ended up with a haircut like Paul Weller, the singer. Not bad, you might say. It is if you're a lady and a grandmother of three... I found Dion through an online search and the rave reviews encouraged me to try this salon. So I booked myself in for haircut and highlights and blowdry. The online booking and paying process was painless and easy, and the prices were more than reasonable. I rocked up to find a lovely clean welcoming salon. The lady who did my hair was a pleasure to deal with - listened to what I wanted, worked quickly and professionally and turned me out looking like a proper Goddess, which is no mean feat. Everything was clean, tidy and as it should be. The two lady stylists were funny and engaging, and I felt very much at home there. While I was there a gentleman came in for a beard trim, and I found out there are treatment rooms downstairs for all sorts of things. You don't need to go anywhere else - this little Heaven on the Holloway Road will fulfil all your family's hairdressing and beauty needs I can't find enough good things to say about this salon. I just regret all the years I spent wandering round with dodgy hairstyles, frightening my grandchildren. I will be back.
