I had botox in my forehead, bunny lines and glabella. I also had filler in my nasolabial lines. I feel awful to write a negative review, but I am so disappointed I feel it’s only right so others can be presented with both the positive and negative and subsequently make an informed choice on what’s best for them as an individual concerning their own treatment plans.
Danielle is an absolutely lovely lady. She was incredibly calming, and thorough in answering all questions and calming my nerves before, during and after treatments.
After my first visit, I still had more movement in my forehead than was ideal, and the botox hadn’t taken affect hardly at all in the glabella or bunny lines regions. Danielle was incredibly accommodating, seeing me in her own home for the botox top up as I was travelling abroad and she only runs clinic once a week as it’s not her primary employment. Disappointingly, this top up still didn’t affect the glabella or bunny lines. The muscles still had almost full range of movement. Danielle advised I book in again and she would try a different brand of botox, as perhaps the brand she had used was not as strong as I’d had with a previous aesthetician but I simply couldn’t financially justify that so soon after just having had the treatments done.
The nasolabial fillers were also unfortunately a disappointment. The DH price list gave a price for nasolabial lines to be filled. This did not specify an amount of filler. I was told in my consultation that my lines were not at all deep, and I could anticipate an excellent result. After my first session, I was left looking really unsymmetrical as one side was filled much more than the other. I was advised to massage and this would resolve, however it did not. I sent photos to Danielle who acknowledged this. I was invited back, but at an additional cost - which I had not factored into my budget as the price list did not state an amount but rather for the nasolabials to be filled. I raised this with Danielle and she agreed this was misleading, and made an appointment to put more filler in the problem side. This unfortunately seemed to have little or no effect. I was advised that I would need to come back and pay for a filler top up if I wanted it rectified. I was anxious to do this, due to the lack of results thus far with both the botox and fillers.
I did receive 20% off as a first time customer, however it’s still a significant sum of money to part with for such lacking results.
From looking at the reviews, I can see many others had much more positive experiences, perhaps the brands of products used simply weren’t suitable for me, but I had to go elsewhere to repeat all of these procedures.
