This looked like a nice salon from the outside, it was busy and other Treatwell customers had left good reviews but this is the WORST haircut I have ever had.
Natasha was lovely and very sweet but she has cut my already short hair so short that I cannot even tuck it behind my ear. All I wanted was a trim and I now have a completely new, and unwanted style. The way she styled my hair was so old fashioned and nothing like we discussed. I now have quite a dated bob which I have had in the past and REALLY DID NOT WANT! I don't normally leave reviews but I wouldn't want anyone else to feel as disappointed as I do. I'm sure the other staff are better trained as their clients seemed happy but I think my haridresser definitely needs to update her skills and get some more training, she was not a 'senior stylist'.

I got half head of highlights.. my hair is pretty damaged and I wanted to make it look more natural rather than yellow highlights. The stylist was very knowledgeable, immediately picked up what I wanted and did an amazing job. I would definitely go back and asked for her. All the staff at the salon are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

I decided to go to Cutting Edge for a blow dry because it was close to where I was staying and it is open on Sunday. The end result was not too bad but a little old-fashioned. (My hair is white so maybe they thought I'd want old-fashioned!)
The positives: the receptionist was welcoming and friendly; Christina, who did my hair, wasn't very friendly at first but she warmed up; the salon was clean and modern.
The negatives: there was no discussion about what I wanted before Christina started drying my hair; the hairdryer was too hot but other than saying sorry she just continued on highest heat; I left having no idea what the back of my hair looked like as I was not offered the opportunity to see it in a mirror.
I probably wouldn't go there again unless I was desperate for a Sunday blow dry. I didn't think it was good value for money.
The booking system was good, though I did receive a message from Treatwell hours after my appointment telling me it had been changed to fifteen minutes earlier. A bit late. Maybe that's why I was rushed out in half an hour.

Everything was great, except I booked an appointment for my friend and I at the same time, and my friend's treatment started 45 minutes after it was scheduled as they were running late. We were then running late for our evening. The cuts were great however.
